Usernames

For now, Light has two usernames:

Problemsolving - He uses this for everyday communications.
65706 - This name is for when he prefers not to give out anything that would identify him.

Physical

Hair: A chestnut brown.

Eye: Also a chestnut brown.

Height: 5'10

Weight: 119 lbs

Clothing: Light always dresses well. As a student, he wears the school's uniform. When he works, he's always in a tailored suit. Outside of those, he's always wearing nicer sweaters or shirts, khakis, etc. He also takes good care of his appearance, which means his hair is usually exactly how he wants it, as is every other aspect of his appearance. He's one of those people who, while naturally good-looking, also works to make everything look naturally perfect.

Relationships/Shipping

Light is simultaneously very easy and very hard to ship. When he's in his amnesiac state, it would be much harder, but when he's aware of being Kira, it's easier to put out the illusion of shipping. He's willing to date and use people as he needs for Kira's needs. So, what does this mean?

Heterosexual relationships: He's willing to flirt and be as charming as he possibly needs to be. He's also willing to take his as far as he needs to achieve his goal. So, even relationships are possible here. While he has amnesia, he's a good boy.

Homosexual relationships: The same as above but with one exception: it would never be public. Perception is very important to him, and he knows that if any homosexual relationship were to come out, it would mean additional hardships and likely a loss of respect from many. This doesn't mean he's homophobic (nor am I) but that it's still not widely accepted. So, he'll seduce the yaoi boys if there's something he needs, but he won't try for a public relationship.

Canon Shipping: I'm willing to play out pretty much all legal ships here with the above warning about his relationships. Believe it or not, outside of the things he does as Kira, Light really is about abiding by the law.

Cross-canon shipping: Absolutely! If it's in high school, he can date a bit younger but as he progresses further into the story, no underage characters would work. Crushes are very welcome, but they won't be returned. I have a wide range of interests so cross-everything is encouraged.

Assumed Relationships: This is fine! Just keep in mind that anything that your character thinks Light feels is probably false, but he puts on a heck of a show.

One-sided relationships: Like many anime protagonists in the world of pretty people, he's used to this. I'm fine with any one-sided crush. Will he have one? His attempt to seduce for information can always fail and while he might try a time or two, he'll eventually resort to the next tactic.

Gen: Absolutely! I'll turn no one down for general threads.

Talents

Light, in some ways, can seem like Marty Stu or Gary Stu or whatever the kids call it these days. While I will list some proven skills, but he can do a lot of things very, very well. More importantly, he's a very fast learner, so many of things he can do seem unrealistic. This isn't god-modding, honest. It's canon and central to the character.

Can Light lose? Of course. Any nonhuman is going to beat him in whatever skill they specialize in. He's not going to pick up a sport and beat a professional athlete the next week. The world is full of geniuses and while that is one of Light's main talents, I'm hardly saying he's the smartest person in the world.

That said, let's get to the list!

Intelligence: Light is extremely smart. We see this when learning that he gets the highest test scores in Japan, when he gets into the best school in Japan with the best scores, and from the cat and mouse game he plays as Kira. In the latter half of the story, he manages to pull off being the greatest detective in the world without anyone noticing a change, all while being a very active Kira and going to University (and later work, once he graduates).

Hacking: This is a side skill, but an important one. He manages to hack into his father's computer, which isn't impressive until you learn his father is a very highly ranked Japanese official. He also manages to hack into the account of a multi-million dollar company.

Acting/Charm/Manipulation: It takes more than just intelligence to make it as Kira. He's a top notch actor that can fool the world into thinking he's not a mass murderer. Shock, anger, outrage, surprise, joy, and all other false emotions come easily to him, even if insincerely. Likewise, he's very good at being charming. He has a famous actress/model/singer and a newscating idol (she's more important than this sounds) fighting over him.

Tennis (and in connection, sports): And this is where we learn it's not just academics that he's unfairly skilled in. In middle school, he joins the tennis team. In the same year, he wins the junior national championship. The next year, he wins again before quitting. As such, though tennis is his forte, he's athletically gifted.

Misc. skills: He knows English and Japanese. He can sew. He has a strong eye for details. Being fabulous. His voice actor can really belt a note, so it's likely he can too.

Clothing

When he first begins Death Note as a 17/18-year-old, he's in his last year of high school. As such, he wears a uniform. Sometimes it's buttoned, sometimes not.

Outside of that, he dresses in khakis, dress pants, sweaters, buttons ups, and other clothes that are on the higher-end of casual. Some examples are 1 and 2.

Once he gets into college, he loses the uniform, and wears his normal clothing to school.

Finally, after the time skip, we see him wearing suits since he's now joined the workforce. They're usually tradition in color with the expected tie and jacket.

Body

Light is on the taller side at 5'10 (Going by HtR. There are different sources, but this seems most official). However, he is thin at just 119 lbs.
