Ryslig - Empathy permissions

Thanks to his alignment with the Fourth, Light has gained the ability to feel empathy toward other people who are within five feet. He'll feel these emotions themselves, but he can only feel the strongest emotion a character is currently experiencing.

Is it okay for him to do so? Or would you prefer he not? Let me know here, no hard feelings for opting out!

Absolutely, totally, and completely OK. Even if he's dealing with a broken roadmap in that regard, I'm all for using this to kick their CR to the next level and trample some dearly held boundaries (namely, the blackout blinds L endeavors to fling over his emotional state.)

BUT ANYWAY feel free to dig into Percy's mess of emotional intensity, but bring a raincoat or something because he's a little bit of a train wreck right now. :'D

His most common emotion is guilt and he feels low-key guilty pretty much constantly, but he also cycles through depression, anger, embarrassment and stubbornness for lack of a better word. He's not a good liar, but he has a subconscious talent for reflecting back what people want to see from him--he's exceptionally empathetic himself, although it's the mundane shonen hero kind as opposed to a power. It's probably somewhat striking at first examination how well he can appear to be happy, cheerful, even arrogant while actually feeling hopeless, moody and self-loathing. He doesn't craft elaborate deceptions, but he can pretend he's fine when he's on the verge of a breakdown like no one else. >>;

And is currently in that arc in game, haha. If this changes drastically later, I'll update you!

Kain doesn't outwardly express his emotions a whole lot, but it's all there, boiling under the surface, and it's almost always INTEEEENSE. A lot of brooding and negativity. It'll be really interesting to me for someone to pick up on that!
